Article posting date disappeared!
Summary: bigzmej complains about the missing listing date in eBay searches, which makes it harder to find newly listed items. They tried navigating by item number, but that isn’t effective either. lidor3073 suggests saving the sellers in order to receive notifications about new items if changes on the platform make it harder to use.
Dear Ebay Team, please give us this "small thing" back, because certain searches are being made pointlessly more difficult.
I often check/search within a category, e.g. electron tubes, for everything that has just been newly listed. I don’t close the tabs afterward, and раньше I immediately knew from which day/time I needed to check the newly listed items. Compare both screenshots:
I then tried to orient myself by item number (typing the last five digits into "Search page"), but that’s pointless too, because if the item is sold - then I no longer have a "starting point" and helplessly scroll down to find anything at all that I had noticed before :(
Please, please, bring it back!

Small tip on the side: save the sellers - in the screenshots I can see two, and I think you can set when they post something new. Then you'll get a notification. That's what I'd do if eBay thinks it has to make things worse by "improving" them. Best regards

OP3 weeks agoHello ludor3073, thanks for the feedback - in the meantime Ebay has solved the problem: everything has been undone.
I only posted both screenshots for illustration - it wasn't about the seller "druschba07", but about the category "Collectible Electron Tubes". In the first screenshot I immediately knew that I had last checked the newly listed items there on 09.08 sometime in the evening, even if druschba's listing had been sold. Without the listing date/time - I would be "lost" if the listing from "druschba" were sold or deleted. Anyway, I'm happy again now :)
