eBay App login fails
Summary: w-sky reports repeated error messages when logging into the eBay app, despite trying various methods such as passkey, a temporary password via SMS, and username and password. perfect-sally suggests reinstalling the app, while patrick@ebay says it is a known issue and a technical ticket has been created. besonders25 says she is having similar difficulties, as the app keeps loading without working.

I’ve now tried about a million times to log back into the app, but in the end it always fails with this error message. I tried logging in with username and password, logging in with a passkey, logging in with a temporary password via SMS, nothing works. In the end, I’m now using eBay on my smartphone in the browser.
It’s almost funny that the app still sends me notifications about watched items ending soon, etc.

·1 month agoI haven't been able to get into the app since yesterday either, it keeps loading and loading but nothing happens, no matter where I am.....Berlin yesterday, Leipzig today .......

OP2 weeks agoAddendum a while later: Yes, it was obviously a bug. Meanwhile, the app is working correctly again and I’m logged in.

·1 month agoI don’t know my way around the app at all and of course I don’t use it either.
But as a first aid, I think I read that you can try completely uninstalling the app and then installing it again from scratch.
