I am a commercial seller on eBay.de and have a question about WEEE registration.
I exclusively sell used electrical and electronic devices that I already buy within Germany (e.g. via eBay) and then resell.
I:
do not import any electrical devices from abroad,
do not sell any new electrical devices,
do not sell any products under a private label,
do not first place any electrical devices on the market in Germany.
At present I have a WEEE number through an external service provider, for which annual costs are incurred.
Could you please confirm in writing whether I actually need my own WEEE registration number for this kind of business activity on eBay? If not, can I remove the WEEE number from my eBay account without this having any impact on my listings?
