Absence settings
Dear community,
how does the absence setting work, with the option that purchases can still be made, regarding the displayed delivery time for customers?
Is this automatically increased / adjusted? For example, with 3 days' absence, is the buyer also shown a delivery window accordingly, after the absence ends?
Or does this still need to be changed elsewhere (shipping conditions)

I just tested it through:
Absence until 16/08.
Displayed delivery date with 2 days processing time 18/08 - 20/08.
That shows up for me for both auctions and Buy It Now.

I just set it up on my side. But it still takes until 12:00 before the absence starts.
However, it shows me that it is not updated for all offers.
I’ll get back to you later.

·1 week agoActually, the delivery times should be adjusted in the absence setting, as eBay always reports. But as has already been written, I wouldn't rely on that.
Just do a test run and observe it.

·1 week agoGood morning @gamesorder I’d personally be careful about continuing to buy there, because if there’s a nitpicker involved and they don’t read through everything properly, there might be trouble, but maybe someone has already had real experience with that.
