All defects removed, service status above average, yet 62% fewer impressions and no sales. Who knows this?
Summary: connectcarparts, a commercial seller from the Netherlands, reports a drastic drop in sales figures on eBay.de, despite the removal of all transaction defects and an above-average service status. Hello everyone,
we are a commercial seller from the Netherlands (brake parts, shipping only from NL to DE, OSS registered) and have been selling on eBay.de since July 2026.
In September we had 17 transaction defects. eBay removed all 17 on 23 and 25/09. Defect rate 0.00%, service status Above Standard, also according to today’s evaluation. In Seller Hub we see no restriction, and the listings are purchasable.
Still, nothing is recovering (figures from Seller Hub):
Impressions per day: avg. 33,130 (07 to 20/09) versus avg. 12,560 (23 to 28/09), minus 62%
Listing views per day: avg. 71 versus avg. 46
No sales since 27/09, with 187 views from 27 to 29/09.
For context: Since the beginning of September, many of our listings were relisted, so with new item numbers and no sales history.
Our questions:
Has anyone experienced a similar drop after defects were removed? How long did the recovery take?
Does a period with cancellations still affect search ranking even after the defects have been removed?
Has anyone managed to get eBay to actively review a remaining restriction or downgrade? Through which contact channel?

there are currently errors again, or whatever it is, which are causing drops in revenue for many/all sellers, or customers can't see the offers...
I checked again and for me the changes were noticeable relatively quickly, either after downgrading or upgrading, usually within 1-2 days.
Don't wait too long and hope for the best, that won't end well...
