Hello everyone,
I’m a commercial seller (used cameras and electronics) and I’m stuck on a verification check.
Process:
- Message from eBay asking me to upload ID, company documents, and proof of purchase for the listed items. Payouts were withheld.
- Documents submitted.
- Payouts then ran normally for about two weeks.
- Recently they’ve been restricted again — without any reason or open task being shown in Seller Hub, in the banner, or in the messages.
My questions:
1. Has anyone experienced this process (release, then renewed withholding without explanation)?
2. In your experience, is this an ongoing review or a permanent reserve?
3. What’s the best way to reach the responsible team for payments processing/underwriting? Regular customer support hasn’t been able to tell me what the open issue is so far.

·3 weeks ago@selphotozone Hey. 🙂 I took a look at this with pleasure. There are currently no restrictions in place. Sales proceeds can be withheld for up to 30 days. After that, they will be released automatically.

·3 weeks agoWell, when you look at your negative and neutral ratings, you really shouldn't be surprised if eBay imposes certain sanctions! Money that’s been withheld is easier for eBay to refund than money that’s already been paid out.
