International shipments are being returned - how to deal with additional costs | Seller Lounge

Hello everyone,I currently have cases where international shipments are not being picked up at the local parcel shops, for example, and then are automatically returned after 7 days.The customers insist that they took care of it, but apparently there was no pickup code, or the shop supposedly couldn’t find the package.Such returns cause significant additional costs, since as a commercial shipper you have to pay for the return shipment from abroad and, of course, send it out again.What is the correct way to handle this? Can you at least require the customer (with eBay’s backing) to pay for the second shipment? How can the customer make the additional payment?Thanks and best regards, Thomas
