Good morning, short explanation:Customer buys, we deliver, reports a defective item, we provide a return label, receives the wrong item back.Nothing abnormal on eBay so far.We contacted the customer directly via eBay after receiving it and pointed out the wrong item.They admit it and also say the item was not defective. They want to send the correct item and we are supposed to send back the wrong one.Since we opened a case, of course we also have to follow the guidelines. We received a message from eBay saying that within 4 days we are supposed to reimburse the customer for the return shipping costs, otherwise the customer will get the full refund and no longer has to return the item.Excuse me? 1 minute later we receive the message that the buyer now has 5 days to return it. So which is it? Can an eBay employee take a look at what is going on here?It can’t be right that we’re supposed to cover return shipping costs twice.Return number: 5303349078Case no.: 5366770571 And just so I understand correctly, starting on 3/11/2025 the buyer could then leave me negative feedback and I would no longer have any protection?
