Hello everyone, I have been running an eBay shop for years, originally with around 2,000 active listings. After a change in the business, unfortunately some listings could no longer be found. We therefore had to cancel several orders, which caused our service status to drop to “below average.”During that time, eBay sharply reduced our selling limit and automatically ended over 1,000 listings.We have been working intensely for months to improve our service status again — and we have now succeeded. The status is now back to “above average.”Customer service told us several times that we could request an adjustment to the limit after this improvement. That is exactly what we did — but eBay is currently refusing to increase the limit again. Instead of a clear explanation, we get different answers every time we call:First, they said that after the status improvement, the limit could be adjusted again.Then we were told to call again after four days.On the next call, they suddenly said we would have to wait until November 20.So there is absolutely no binding information on when, or even whether, the limit will be increased again at all.The problem is that we currently only have around 500 active listings left, and our sales have dropped massively as a result. For us, this is about our economic survival.So my questions to you are:Has anyone here ever experienced eBay refusing a limit adjustment despite a restored service status?Is there a way to escalate the issue to a higher level or a special department at eBay?How did you proceed in a similar case to get your limit back?I would appreciate any advice or reports from experience on the best way to move forward here.Thanks in advance
