Lizenzero results - what a surprise

I’ve now also taken a look at the Lizenzero_Rechner and tried to figure out for which countries I would actually need an authorized representative, licensing, etc. I find the result very surprising:

France in particular surprised me. Well, I still don’t know whether this is relevant for eBay, or whether in that case an authorized representative would still have to be specified obligatorily in order to be shown in the relevant countries. Then this wouldn’t help me anyway (probably in my own online shop). Unfortunately, with the framework conditions I can’t select the Netherlands anyway, only the entire EU. So that doesn’t help me either.
It’s honestly a joke that something is supposed to be implemented when it’s not even practical in this form and nobody even has an overview. Not to mention the sheer pointlessness of it all!

·2 weeks agoBelgium and France are actually totally strict. What did you choose there, that these two in particular are excluded for you?
Anyway, pretty wild that Italy came through for me a few weeks ago without licensing with the same parameters, and now all of a sudden with it. Are we supposed to check this every week or what?

OP2 weeks agoAs I said, with FRankreich I had made a mistake - see above. And for France I would therefore need an authorized representative again (if I were to go along with this nonsense at all, I currently only ship within Germany and to third countries). For Belgium I actually had the same mistake because I hadn't clicked e-commerce packaging. So thank you very much for the hint.
That leaves the following, without any authorized-representative requirement in my case:

Aside from the Netherlands and possibly Switzerland, these aren't really the top countries for my sector.

OP2 weeks agoYes, that is my result. However, with one correction: FRance would now be on the list for which I would need an authorized representative, because I clicked one question wrong (the question about the e-commerce packaging, that has to be "yes" for me - it was wrong at first and that led to the wrong result, which I myself was surprised by - see screenshot).
I will go through it again this afternoon, but yes - that is my result. However, about 5400 euros still remained to be paid. Which I will not do.

·2 weeks agoThat is complete nonsense what Lizenzero is putting out there. And an authorized representative is an EU requirement for every country and still in force (although there are supposedly efforts to change that). That cannot be repealed nationally, but the EPR implementation can
