NOTICE Article disappeared
I had created a note for each of my listings, and now they’ve disappeared after I relisted them! THIS IS A DISASTER!
Are they saved anywhere on eBay????

·1 month agoHello @dd*1-2-3-allerlei*dd ,
thanks for your post!
I'll be happy to check with the specialist department whether the notes can be restored.
For most items, the note is still there. Am I right in understanding that this applies to all items that currently don't have a note stored, or are you referring to specific items? If that's the case, I'd please need the corresponding item numbers from you once.
Thanks for the tag, @perfect-sally ! ❤
Best regards
Verena

OP1 month agoHello Verena, I have finished all the articles this affects, so they are now in the "inactive" articles, which is 269 items.
Thanks.

·1 month agoHello @dd*1-2-3-allerlei*dd ,
thanks for your message.
My dear colleague Verena is not supporting the community today. Therefore, I have already contacted the specialist department. They just told me that the internal notes belong to the respective article. Once the status of the article is changed, the notes can therefore no longer be accessed.
Therefore, they would unfortunately have to be added again. A third-party tool may be an option for you if you want to save certain things to your articles.
Best regards
Anna

OP1 month agoThanks Anna. Yesterday I requested the GDPR report for the ebay articles in the hope that those notes would be included there?

·1 month agoHello @dd*1-2-3-allerlei*dd !
Which note? I can’t find a cancellation button on your end,
which is now required
perfect-sally
·1 month agoThe cancellation button is not VK's obligation but eBay's here.
And the button is not really a button in the true sense, but rather the extended
form of reasons for returns / cancellations.
In addition, as an outsider, you don't see this function if you didn't buy there.

·1 month agoHello @perfect-sally ,
Yes, of course, eBay has to embed it. But I haven’t seen it here yet.
I thought that eBay has to embed it before the purchase.????
Somehow it doesn’t make any sense to me otherwise.

·1 month agoFor me, there’s no point in seeing a cancellation button if nothing was purchased. And as I said, the button on eBay isn’t really a button.

OP1 month agoEven though you didn't reply directly, the "note" meant was the one you can add yourself, visible only to you. I had noted the storage location and a number there. Then I ended and relisted items, and those notes disappeared with it. That's a catastrophe for me.

I would have liked to include an employee for you,
but I don’t know who is on duty today. Maybe
@perfect-sally knows and can bring in a staff member.

·1 month ago@verena@ebay might want to take a look at this. Thanks
