I received the Seller News for August today. I noticed 2 points:
First, I can’t find the eBay Top-Service cockpit in my seller cockpit. Is that still a pipe dream or am I doing something wrong?
There is, in my view, still the following unclear point in the text:
When buying in the store, do they mean only the stamps without matrix code, or all stamps?
It would be nice if an eBay employee could comment on this.

What I find much worse is that Top status now depends on an uploaded tracking number.
That means I’ll lose my Top status - like many other sellers too - since I mainly ship letters as merchandise.
My status has been spotless for years - and now I’m being punished.
@patrick@ebay : there should be a special status here for tiny orders under 5 or even 10 EUR.
And as long as tracking with matrix codes is so unreliable, I still think it’s completely impossible to use that as the basis.
If I send something as a large letter and frank it through ebay, 30% don’t get a proper scan from DHL.
And then I’m punished by losing Top status, and quite possibly getting defect entries for lateness too - because the scan wasn’t done properly.
Am I choosing between the plague and cholera?

Hello @petersmodellbahnstuebchen one answer is already in front of your marked text passage " For letters sent by Deutsche Post, tracking only counts if you use the Internet stamp with matrix code. You can buy these either via the eBay shipping platform or directly on the Deutsche Post website.
Regarding Top Service Cockpit, you can either access it via this link https://www.ebay.de/ets/performance
Or Performance > Service status (between Seller Cockpit & Resolve problems, you'll find " eBay Top Service " on the left side.

thanks for the quick reply.
I’ve now found the eBay Top Service Cockpit, but without your hint I would never have looked for it there, but rather one level higher.
So when it comes to the stamps with matrix code, you can only advise eBayers not to buy them locally.
