I sold an item worth about 35 euros and didn't notice that I had indicated the item location abroad. I received an email from Ebay with the following wording, which also threatens to suspend my account: eBay is required to request the VAT identification number (VAT ID number) from commercial sellers as proof of their tax registration. Since you are selling goods stored in France, we require either your valid French VAT ID number or your valid VAT ID number from another EU member state with confirmation that you declare and pay VAT via One-Stop-Shop (OSS). How can I contact Ebay and explain that this was a one-time input error on my part?Best regards, Elke
