Rating removal
Summary: vogelsberger-kinderwelt sought the removal of both a negative and a neutral review for their product. The negative review criticized the product's quality and return policy, which the seller disputed, claiming it was a false statement to avoid return costs. The neutral review claimed delayed shipping, contradicted by vogelsberger-kinderwelt who provided tracking details. Despite an initial favorable outcome from eBay, representatives clarified that the reviews did not violate guidelines and upheld the decisions. Suggestions included contacting buyers for review adjustments or providing public responses to clarify their position.
Good day,
I am asking for the removal of the following reviews:
1.) negative
The fabric has very poor, thin quality and does not match the price-performance ratio. The seller does not issue a return label!
If the item does not meet expectations, the order can be canceled. However, the return costs are borne by the buyer. Accordingly, I am also not sending a return label.
That can also be read in the cancellation policy. He wanted a return label from me so that he would not have to bear the costs.
The buyer then simply claimed that the item deviates from the description. However, this is not the case!
2.) neutral
Everything okay. Unfortunately shipping took over 1 week.
That does not correspond to the facts. Bought on 05/07 (Sunday). Shipped on 06/07, as proven (first scan by the shipping company). According to the tracking number, delivered on 08/07.
Kind regards
Kristian

Both reviews do not violate the guidelines and reflect the buyer’s perception.
A review is the buyer’s subjective perception and can only be deleted in exceptional cases. Those exceptional cases do not apply here, and therefore we will not remove the reviews.
You have two options for dealing with the reviews.
You respond to the reviews in your review overview and explain your side of things there.
You ask the buyer for a review adjustment.
Best regards
Samantha

The buyer's perception?
If a falsehood is part of the rating (neutral rating)?
And what does the remark about the return label have to do with the rating?
Why aren't my questions being answered?
There is eBay seller protection!
It can be read on eBay's page!
The neutral rating is therefore "covered" and MUST be removed!
I bought the label through eBay. For the shipping method, I am protected by eBay seller protection.
How many times do I have to write that again?
And once again: The case (negative rating) was decided in my favor!
See eBay message from June 17!

The case regarding the negative review was not closed in your favor, because otherwise no refund would have been issued to the buyer; therefore the review was not removed with the case decision.
As for the neutral review, the tracking information does not show delivery to the buyer, so this review cannot be removed.
Kind regards
Vera

Please look at the messages. I’m not allowed to insert messages here. On June 17, eBay wrote to me that the case had been reviewed and it was determined that I had described the item correctly and completely! They also said that the case would be decided in my favor. Of course, the buyer got their money refunded. He also returned the item. I was not charged for the return shipping costs. So in the end, it was a normal cancellation.
For the neutral feedback, the first scan is enough. It was bought on July 05 (Sunday). On July 06 it was already scanned at the Giessen logistics center. In the end, it makes absolutely no difference whether the item arrives late or doesn’t arrive at all. Both versions are covered by eBay seller protection. By leaving the feedback, the buyer confirmed that he received the item, but that it would have taken a very long time. This isn’t something I’m making up. It says so on the eBay page. Why do I have to fight so hard for eBay to stick to the things it promised itself (eBay seller protection)?

·4 days agoHello @vogelsberger-kinderwelt ,
Thank you very much for your post. I’ve looked at both reviews for you. In the neutral review about shipping, delivery cannot be traced via the tracking number, so the review cannot be removed.
In the negative review regarding the quality and the return label, the buyer’s statement is not something we can disprove, and the case was closed after the return shipment with a refund to the buyer, so the review was not removed and still cannot be removed. I saw that you have already responded to both reviews. You have the option of getting in touch with your buyers again so that the buyers can change the reviews themselves.
Kind regards
Vera

Negative feedback:
The case was decided in my favor! I don't understand why the feedback still isn't being removed. I never refused the return either! Quite the opposite.
The buyer had stated that the item deviated significantly from the description. That was and is a lie! He wanted to save on return shipping costs. If he doesn't like the item, he can return it. That's what the right of withdrawal is for. And in my cancellation policy it says that the buyer bears the return shipping costs. Here, someone tried to avoid these costs with a lie. Why should I send the buyer a return label?
Of course the buyer gets his money back. He would have gotten that from me too. But not the return shipping costs.
Ebay sent me a message saying that I had described the item correctly and completely and that the case will be decided in my favor. I don't understand it... So how can the feedback stay up then? The feedback is not okay like that because of the reference to the return label.
Neutral feedback:
I bought the shipping label through ebay. It shows me there that I am covered by the ebay seller protection! On the ebay page with the info about ebay seller protection, it says the following:
"Protection for shipping and delivery problems
If an item arrives late, but the tracking information shows that you shipped the item on time, feedback and defects are automatically removed."
According to the tracking, the item arrived on time and disproves the statement in the feedback.
If you ignore that and believe the content of the feedback, then it should still be removed, because it has been proven that the item was shipped on time (scan at the shipping company).
Why doesn't ebay stick to its own assurances/promises?

OP4 days agoHello,
could someone from ebay please take care of this?
I really can’t understand any of this.
@vera@ebay @nina@ebay @elke@ebay
neutral rating:
The claim is demonstrably false! See tracking number.
Shipping did not take over a week, as stated in the rating.
Besides, I’m protected by ebay seller protection.
In the event of delayed shipping, which is what’s being claimed here, the rating is removed.
That’s what ebay promises. Why not in my case?
negative rating:
This is a revenge rating. A false reason was given as to why I should cover the return shipping costs. I رفضed this and pointed out that the item could be returned, but at his expense. Here I referred to the cancellation policy.
The ebay case was decided in my favor!
So why wasn’t the rating removed?
vogelsberger-kinderwelt

It can’t be that both ratings are not being removed.
neutral rating:

Besides, I am covered by eBay seller protection.
If shipping is delayed, as is being claimed here, the rating is removed.
Why not in my case?

·2 weeks agoHello,
Just don’t think that anyone is interested in you. Let the Call Center "employees" call you, they’ll remove the reviews.
"Value for money" and then, in the subjective view of a buyer, has nothing to do with the buying experience. End of story.
bixtron
·2 weeks agoOh yeah.. Since when are you obligated to issue a return label? Even if there had actually been a defect, you would only have had to cover the costs - but definitely not be forced to issue a label.
So, complete nonsense - must go.

OP2 weeks agoThanks for the feedback.
I’ve now requested it via the link from @voli-maus .
@perfect-sally
Due to the second part of the review, it has to be deleted. The ebay case was also decided in my favor. It was simply claimed that the item did not match the description. He just wanted to save on return shipping costs.
@voli-maus
Thanks for the link.

·2 weeks agoUnfortunately, you're seeing that wrong! eBay doesn't have to do anything. And if you actually didn't provide a label and the buyer reported an item not as described (even if it was just a pretext), you may well have a hard time getting the rating removed. Even if others send you links where such a rating was removed, it's still not the same as your case. And if the support rep present doesn't remove the rating right away themselves and you're supposed to go through the link, then that's a 50/50 joker and nothing more. Real violations and the rating gets deleted immediately.
vogelsberger-kinderwelt
OP2 weeks agoYes, that’s how it was. The case was decided in my favor too.
Why should I also have to provide a label and cover the return shipping costs?
And rating this fact negatively is not okay.

My link referred to shipping, and that should be removed.
Reading properly is an advantage. 😉

·2 weeks agoI don't think the review will be deleted, it reflects the buying experience, and the buyer is complaining about the quality of the item. No one here can judge how it was with the return label, but maybe this is your chance if that claim turns out to be false.
@elke@ebay could you take a look, please? Thanks

·2 weeks agoHello @vogelsberger-kinderwelt ,
we’re asking the lovely @elke@ebay for help.
I think the negative one will not be removed.
The neutral one should be deleted, as it does not reflect the facts and violates the feedback guidelines.
