As part of activating the cancellation button, framework conditions were unintentionally activated globally - for me and, as I’ve seen, for other users as well. As a result, since 26/06 I have no longer been able to set my shipping costs and conditions individually, and eBay has automatically “dumped” nearly 100 framework conditions with cryptic names into the backend. In addition, incorrect shipping costs were assigned to a not insignificant number of items for international postage. Since I only received feedback on my request to deactivate the framework conditions from other affected users, but not from eBay employees, I tried to help myself at least temporarily with a workaround. I gave the three shipping options most frequently used for my more than 2,000 items understandable names (example: DE Free. EU up to 5 kg - additional item + €2). But if I now want to select a different one of these framework conditions for existing items (example: “DE Free. EU up to 2 kg” should become “DE Free. EU up to 5 kg - additional item + €2”), I am offered four options: 1. Open shipping conditions 2. Edit conditions 3. Create shipping conditions 4. Edit costs for this listing None of these options allows me to select a different already created and active framework condition via a dropdown. To get anywhere at all for the time being, I chose the option “Edit costs for this listing,” and I was also able to edit the costs there individually for that one listing (with the foreboding that this might create another unwanted framework condition). But when I then try to save the individually edited listing: the same error message every time: After that there is no further option to edit anything in another way. I’m now both at a loss and frustrated. For an estimated 100 listings, I want to change incorrectly assigned shipping costs, but I can’t. I currently have around 70 more listings prepared offline with text and images, but I can’t list them because of the problems described above (because of course nobody creates a new listing completely from scratch, but develops it from their own listings that are as similar as possible). So now my questions: How can I assign a different already created and active framework condition to an item that is already online? How can I edit shipping costs for a listing individually (as the menu suggests is possible) without getting an error message when saving? When can I expect a response from eBay? I can hardly imagine that I am the only user with this problem. Most of all, though, I would love to get rid of this framework-condition madness. Thanks for any response. Additional info if needed: PC, Windows. Tried in the following browsers: Firefox, Chrome and even Bing. Update: I already published this post once today, and although - in my view - I wrote it in a friendly and appreciative way and explained my problem objectively and thoroughly, it was deleted without any further notice. I would like to know what I am doing wrong or what I did wrong.
