Whenever you think it really can’t get any worse, after being annoyed for 3 weeks straight by browser checks (Edge, Chrome, FF) and omnipresent captchas, eBay (or Cloudflare) has now topped it off once more. Lately, bidding and logging in are being blocked intermittently with the following message: Sorry for the interruption...On your eBay search, your browser gave the impression that you are a bot. There can be various reasons for this:You are a particularly powerful user who is navigating the website at superhuman speed.You have disabled JavaScript in your browser.A third-party plug-in, such as Ghostery or NoScript, is preventing JavaScript from running. Is it actually the case that ebay.de is not capable of configuring its security mechanisms properly and appropriately? Are they accepting that a not inconsiderable number of completely legitimate page visits are being blocked just to be “safe” from bots?
