Ad views bug
Hello, I have a problem with my sales. Looks like a bug with ad views. The views have been at 0 for days. They aren't being shown to me. I didn't have this problem before. Is it possible that it will be fixed?

·2 weeks agoI keep getting that all the time, and it will probably never change. No matter whether there’s a “0” or a “5” there - those numbers are wrong 99% of the time - at least for me.
There’s absolutely nothing you can do about it. Ebay isn’t going to fix it either. I’d leave off promoting it - that doesn’t change visibility anyway.

·2 weeks agoHello @diamari1991 , thanks a lot for your post. At the moment, we don't know anything about this at eBay. I can also see some of your active listings that have multiple views. Of course, you can also take a look and see whether the option "Promote listing" might be right for you to improve the visibility of your listings and sell them faster.
@perfect-sally thanks a lot for the tag.
Kind regards
Elke

OP2 weeks ago · EditedOk, you mean I should relist the articles? So delete them and put them back in? And maybe try the ad tariff too?
Yeah, for a few others the views are shown to me, strangely enough,

·2 weeks agoHello @diamari1991 , thank you very much for your feedback. You can definitely take a look at whether you can still improve anything about your listings, for example by adding additional item specifics and including a complete, good description with meaningful item images. You can also promote your listings; you set the ad rate yourself.
Kind regards
Elke

OP2 weeks ago · EditedYes, I added several of my own features. Put in several good photos/brighter ones.

OP2 weeks agofor an ad, for example, I'm in 1st place in the search results without an ad tariff.. maybe there just aren't any interested people right now....

·2 weeks agoWhich sort order? If you sort by best results, the article is only first for you... Searched for/accessed/searched several times/0 km distance etc.
diamari1991
OP2 weeks agoI sort by latest results and Germany.

·2 weeks agoThen sort properly. Most users leave the standard sorting on “Best results”, followed by “lowest price”, and only then would “newly listed” come up.
Or if you sort by “distance” now, you’re naturally at the top too. Search results are different for each user with the sorting options “Best results” and “distance”.
You can’t really influence “Best results” all that much. Complete, sensible listings, lots of good photos, and a good seller profile, possibly already good sales of the item if there are multiple copies. That’s it... there’s nothing more you can do. Price-wise, you shouldn’t even start at the very bottom, but rather somewhere in the medium to higher range, because the “cheap” listings are not prioritized under “Best results”!

OP2 weeks agoI can try using a different browser. On my tablet, it also shows zero views. The problem was on my computer.

·2 weeks agoYou’re the only one so far who’s complained about this kind of thing, and I’m assuming it’s not due to eBay, because otherwise the Community would be full of these reports.

·2 weeks agoLet's just ask an ebay employee whether ebay is aware of a problem in this regard.
@elke@ebay could you take a look, please? Thanks
diamari1991
OP2 weeks agoThat would be great. In the meantime, I’ll check out another browser.

OP2 weeks agoOn the other browsers that I basically never use, I also have 0 views. I put everything back in again and used the display tariff.
