Don't click on it! If you don't want to receive a bonus!
Summary: mmstore74 reports annoying notifications on her phone that could supposedly be phishing messages from an app. bixtron recommends uninstalling the app or blocking the notifications. mmstore74 follows this advice and finds that the messages stop after uninstalling, but return after reinstalling. darkbequest24 confirms they are receiving the same kind of messages and hopes for a quick fix from the app responsible. The discussion ends with the wish that someone from the app staff would respond.
Good morning everyone,
I keep getting the following message on my phone
" Don’t click on it! If you don’t want to receive a bonus! "

Is anyone else getting this and how do you get rid of it completely? I can’t block it.
According to Google it’s supposed to be phishing, but it’s annoying to have to delete it like 10 times a day.
Kind regards
Marc

OP2 weeks agoHello everyone, could maybe an Ebay employee comment on whether this is from Ebay or not? It's bothering me extremely

·2 weeks agoI hope eBay resolves this technical problem as soon as possible; I no longer feel safe using the eBay app.

·2 weeks agoI have the same problem, that’s pretty wild, since it comes straight from the eBay app.

OP3 weeks ago@bixtron Had uninstalled the app, wasn’t getting anything anymore, I’ve installed it again now, let’s see what comes 🤣

OP3 weeks agoHi @bixtron I tried it like this and deleted the app once, and we'll see if anything else comes up; if so, I know it's not from Ebay 🤣

·3 weeks agoHey,
that would surprise me 🤣
Though until recently I was still getting fake emails with real senders...

·3 weeks agoAs bad as this is, it’s probably coming from eBay.. I’d just uninstall the app or block its notifications completely by turning off the eBay app entirely in your phone’s notification settings. If needed, you can also turn off notifications selectively.
