Photos can no longer be uploaded suddenly

The upload is stuck on 3 PCs, whether Edge, Chrome or Firefox.

nothing works for me either, you can painstakingly upload photos one by one after several attempts but then not edit them, really sad what eBay has become, that they can't get this sorted out faster at such a huge company.

1 photo is not a problem.
As soon as you want to upload several, only every 2nd one at most gets uploaded without an error.

·2 weeks agoIt hasn’t been working for me either for a little while now. Most photos are supposedly showing errors. For one of them, reducing the image size worked, but for the rest that doesn’t help either... Please fix this!!!

·1 month agoWell, some photos are loaded, for others it says: "Upload error " in nice red.
I just tried uploading them one by one, and that worked, but uploading several together doesn’t work.

·1 month agoYes, I also can't upload images to new listings, of course.
However, there is a complicated workaround:
You upload the images via the eBay app to your previously created drafts and save them, or publish the listing directly through the eBay app. That works without any problems and without an error message. Unfortunately, that takes more time when creating listings than doing it directly through the website.
Oh, and changing cookies, browser, or computer doesn't help. You can save yourself the trouble.

·1 month agoHas also been happening here for about 2 hours now. I tested it separately with photos from auctions already in progress to avoid errors with the photos. eBay's status page (still) shows no error.

·1 month agoNo chance for me to upload photos either .....Chrome, Firefox, Safari, even after clearing history, cookies, cache and updating, it still doesn’t work. Different users have no success either, so probably a malfunction (it works on the phone via the app - in case that helps anyone)

·1 month agoI’m chiming in here too — I’ve been working on it forever, and then it finally loads at last, but when editing it afterward it also says remove photo with errors again .....

·1 month agoSo with countless repetitions it works eventually, I now have 5 of the article's 6 images in there. I would rule out cache and cookies; in my second attempt I used Opera, with which I had never been on eBay before, and the exact same thing happens there.

·1 month agoIf I’m making the effort to point out a
system error at ebay here on a Sunday, then for sure beforehand I have:
deleted cookies, cleared the cache
tested it on different computers with different browsers
logged in and out countless times
and on top of that shut down and restarted ALL the computers here completely
Rarely is the error on the user’s side, usually it’s ebay ......

·1 month ago...in my opinion, the photo problem lies with the overblown ebay system with more and more links and functions - like payment system and printing a shipping label - the ebay system and the programmers are overwhelmed by that and more and more glitches are occurring. Why, for example, do you have to upload 25 photos and a video - that’s pure nonsense and overloads the ebay system.

whether uploading lots of photos is nonsense or not is something one can truly argue about.
Lots of informative photos in the listing reduce possible misunderstandings about the original condition of an item and at the same time increase the visibility of the listings.
And if Ebay allows this option, then it also has to work.
Many users here pay a lot of money for that.

·1 month agoHello @sozialman , many thanks for your post. At the moment, we don't have any further reports on this. I therefore recommend that you delete the cookies and clear the cache here. Then log into your eBay account later and try again. Feel free to get back in touch tomorrow if it still doesn't work today later on.
