Dear Sir or Madam,

I urgently need the support of an eBay moderator from the Community Team. My seller account iqsi-5129 has been temporarily restricted because verification of my details is required.

At the moment, I am in a tricky situation:

The message from eBay says: “To continue selling on eBay, please contact us.”
The phone hotline says: “We can’t do anything at the moment, as this is an automatic suspension.”
In the account: There is neither a noticeable banner visible, nor is there an option to upload my required documents (ID and bank proof).

I would like to complete the verification properly and have prepared all the required documents.

I kindly ask for your help regarding my permanently suspended eBay account.

If I made any mistakes or violated a policy, I sincerely apologize. There must have been something wrong on my end, but it was never my intention to break any rules. I am willing to correct any mistakes and fully comply with eBay's policies going forward.

eBay is my only source of income, and I have invested a significant amount of money in inventory and stock for my business. The suspension has put me in a very difficult financial situation.

I have already registered my company and am currently waiting for my VAT number to be issued so I can provide all the required business information to eBay.

I respectfully ask for one more opportunity to restore my account. I am committed to following all eBay policies and ensuring this never happens again.

no offense, but you should already have the VAT ID before selling on Ebay as a business.

Also, your account is still set to private.

If Ebay now wants to see you as a business seller, you first have to provide Ebay with all the requested information.

It won’t help you either if you later assure them that you comply with all Ebay guidelines.

Thank you very much for your reply.

My account was originally opened as a private account. However, after eBay verified my identity, the account was permanently suspended – at that point, it was still not a business account.

Only then did I receive the information from eBay that I am classified as a commercial seller and must provide a business registration and a VAT ID number. That is why I have now registered my business and applied for the VAT ID number. Unfortunately, I am still waiting for processing.

As soon as I receive the VAT ID number, I will submit all the information requested by eBay immediately. I very much hope that my account will then be reactivated.
