Saved drafts disappear for no reason - Ebay unfortunately can't help me
Summary: zipo3 reports a problem when creating drafts on a sales platform, where saved items suddenly disappear. Despite contacting the platform, no solution could be found. mullewapp suspects a possible issue with the item limit and suggests publishing items immediately after creating them and then editing similar ones afterward. michaelis.motoren thanks them, but says that he wants to upload all items at the same time so buyers can place bulk orders. The discussion ends with a note about recent changes to the platform that could be causing problems.
Hello everyone,
I’m a private seller with a passion, and I’ve got a big problem when creating drafts. I wanted to sell my son’s large Lego collection to pay part of his driving license costs.... Now we had already saved over 50 items as drafts, when after a few days we noticed that some items were no longer there at all. Whenever we finish a new item, an old item gets deleted. The 75-day period hasn’t passed yet either, and limits shouldn’t be a problem either. I read something about 5000.
I don’t need to tell anyone that all that work was for nothing - extremely annoying!!
Ebay can’t help me after what feels like 50 emails (or doesn’t want to). That’s why this community is our last hope.
Has anyone maybe had a problem like this too? We’d be incredibly grateful for any tip!!!
Thank you very much in advance.

·1 month agoHello, @zipo3
use scheduled start time. Then all items will be listed on EBAY at the time you specify. Until then, you could also edit the items if necessary.
Scheduled start time is free of charge.

·1 month agoHello,
that’s naturally very annoying. My old drafts are still saved, there are only a few anyway. I can imagine that you’re over the limit and then they’re automatically deleted even if eBay says something else. So I’d start straight away with one item. Once it’s listed, under the active item - Sell similar item - you can make changes there. That’s how I did it with our Lego, and then it goes quicker too.
Best regards

·1 month agoThanks for the quick response.
I just wanted to upload all 70 or 80 items at the same time so that buyers can save on shipping costs and place bulk orders. Creating all these items naturally takes time. I usually do it in the evening for 1 - 2 hours... A lot of work has already been lost now...
Maybe someone else can still give a crucial tip...
