Disable international shipping options for auctions – sensible or not?

I have disabled international shipping for all my active auctions, as logistics and the additional costs can sometimes be overwhelming. Yet some still appear in my auctions anyway.

What is meant by "still appear in my offers"?

Does that mean that international shipping is still shown in some offers?
