Is it only allowed to enter whole amounts now and no decimal places?
Summary: rennstrecke2017 and several others discussed an issue on eBay where decimal amounts entered for pricing are incorrectly multiplied, turning €24.99 into €2,499.00. Clearing cookies and cache did not resolve the problem. perfect-sally and melina@ebay are working with eBay technical support to address it, with melina@ebay requesting screenshots to open tickets for affected users. p-schauberger and others noted similar problems, leading to concerns about widespread technical glitches. Some participants suggested temporary workarounds, such as using periods instead of commas, though solutions remain inconsistent.

If I type in 24,99 € and look at the preview, 2.499.00 €uro appears; if I go back, it also shows 2.499.00 €uro
If I enter a whole 25 €uro, it stays 25 €uro

·2 weeks agoHello..I have this problem with the decimal places too..but only when I post items with my smartphone..with my tablet or laptop I can also enter amounts with commas again. 😎

·2 weeks agoHey, for now you can work around it by entering a period instead of a comma as the separator, then the correct total is displayed. However, I don't know when the bug will be fixed, whether the thousand total will then be displayed again

Not using a period or comma at all and only entering round prices might help, @sozialman .

After entering it, the amount also jumps directly to 100 times the value

I didn’t take any screenshots of it.
I was just really surprised when my item (LGB 47382) was suddenly supposed to cost €25,000 instead of €250.00. (Attached is the screenshot for changes!)
It’s all going downhill (what does that remind me of?)
