I sold a 3D printer. Shortly after receiving it, the buyer wrote to me and said that DHL had damaged the package. He also wrote that he had tried to put it into operation and probably damaged the electronics in the process. Right after that, he started buyer protection and sent the item back. Now I receive an item here that is completely destroyed and the buyer gets the verdict in his favor. He gets the purchase price and the shipping costs refunded, so now I’m down €10. Who’s supposed to understand that? I definitely sent a working item; you can even see that in the pictures. And now I get a pile of junk back. Not only that, I’m now also really in the red compared to the sale price. Who’s supposed to understand that? What kind of policy is that? Can you now just order any item, claim it was broken, break it, apply for buyer protection, send the thing back, and get your money back? What kind of scam is that?
