Buyer chooses DHL parcel, package allegedly not received, buyer protection sides with the buyer | Sell

I sold an item and, in the listing, selected the shipping option between DHL parcel and DHL package. The buyer chose DHL parcel and, after more than a month, is now claiming that he did not receive the package.I have proven that I bought the DHL parcel shipping label and provided the tracking number. However, this number cannot be used with DHL parcel. Buyer protection is now siding with the customer because I cannot prove that the parcel arrived. Yet the buyer explicitly waived the extra charge for DHL package shipping. Ebay apparently only responds via bot - the replies seem standardized. Surely it can’t be that the buyer saves on shipping costs and I, as the seller, still bear full liability?
