Hello, I sent a letter with a silver coin in it. By registered mail + insured value (insured up to 500 EUR), and out of 3 buyers, one person has now reported that they supposedly did not receive the silver coin. The value was 35 EUR. I still have the proof of posting. Do I simply refund the person and then claim damages of EUR 60 from Deutsche Post? To be honest, I find it hard to believe that the coin was stolen. Thanks for any help 🙂 What should I do? I’m guessing I have to refund the money, because otherwise eBay will cause trouble + a bad rating?
