Return case – Buyer claims false defects, return was sent before the case was opened | Sell

Good day,I sell privately on eBay and have a return case where I’m unsure how eBay will decide.A buyer purchased a used coat. She already sent it back on her own initiative before she had even opened an eBay return request. I accepted the coat, checked it, and found no stains or odors – it is clean and matches my listing.Only after that did she open the return case and now claims the coat was heavily soiled and “musty,” which is not true. I have photos and witnesses confirming its condition, and everything is documented.I have already responded factually in the return case and asked eBay to review it.Question for the community or the eBay team:Based on experience, how good are the chances for private sellers in such a case if the item is demonstrably fine and the buyer is making false claims?Many thanks in advance for any assessment!Kind regardsSabine
