Since when are commercial sellers allowed to rate themselves with private accounts?
It's about item number 236958848720.The listing ended today!
The seller rates themself there several hundred times to "spruce up" their feedback profile
Maybe an eBay employee could take a look at this sometime and do something about it.
Otherwise the feedback system would be pointless.

even if the seller had the profile spruced up, that would only help him in terms of the total number of his ratings - it doesn’t necessarily affect the %, since multiple ratings from one buyer for purchases from 1 week only count once and are included in the calculation

How do you figure the seller is rating themselves?
The buyer e***e (51) could also be someone who spotted a cheap buying opportunity and doesn’t know that you can increase the quantity.

if you have time, then take a close look at the ratings for this seller.
There are HUNDREDS of feedback ratings that he gave himself with other accounts.
And they are only low-priced items, and it is ALWAYS the same accounts that buy exactly the same item hundreds of times.
It’s not just the buyer with the 51 ratings, but also the buyer 7***d with 4 feedback ratings and the buyer 8***c with 13 feedback ratings.

Exactly the same item and the same scam...

It could just as easily be that the 51er is a reseller of resellers.
Besides, there is no "scheme"; the seller incurs sales fees, and he can't always keep canceling, eBay would notice that.
Likewise, it would be noticed if the 51er kept canceling and/or not paying.

Why would the purchases be canceled??
The seller has monthly sales of over 10,000 euros.
Do you really think those ridiculous fees for a 2,99 euro item bother him?
And yes, eBay would notice, that's exactly why the seller was briefly suspended before.
He just keeps on going anyway.
It also brings in enough fees for eBay.
