I’ve just also run into the errors already described: price and uploading photos.
You can get around the price field by entering just the plain number, e.g. 2 or 25, or whatever it may be.
Then it appears correctly as 2,00 € or 25,00 €
But it only works with round amounts
Uploading images gave me an error message too, so I just tried again by uploading each selected photo individually with a double-click on the selected photo , and that worked too.
More tedious, but successful at least
Give it a try, then maybe the frustration level will go down too

yeah, I use Edge too, works great everywhere, only exception:
3 guesses
Delete cache and cookies, restart... these measures don’t help anymore either, because they’ve been used so often that they’re already completely worn out and thus ineffective 🥴🙈

all this tech stuff is overwhelming me and I don’t feel like trying out 100 different browsers for just one thing = Ebay.
So I’ll probably just wait it out
Whenever the topic of “chrome” comes up in my circle, everyone rolls their eyes. 🤷♀️
What’s now also really problematic is the wrong item location display.
Especially with an item that’s attracting a lot of interest ( quite a lot of views and watchers in a very short time)
I doubt that ebay will make a correction there, they already have plenty of work with the other crap they’ve been churning out.
Only one thing I know now:
The statement often made in the forum:
“Ebay can not change the personal setting details on its own”.
is not correct like that.
I’m worried that a clever (potential) buyer could twist it into a case against me ( false information ).....
@lidor3073 , be glad that the app isn’t having any problems for once.

There’s also Microsoft’s Edge browser—do you use that too? I’m still using Firefox
here. Chrome is not coming into my house.
But somehow it’s also kind of irrelevant; hardly anything works here anymore without glitches. And if something does work, it won’t be long before the bug starts gnawing at that too.

·1 week agoInteresting, @lidor3073 I’ve often had the impression that the programmers at Ebay and those responsible for the technical settings in the community only use their smartphones and don’t check what things look like, for example, the graphical display in the different browsers on a computer. 😉

Apparently, the Chrome browser is supposed to be the go-to for eBay, supposedly everything works with it.
What’s weird is that the full-format, full-screen eBay live never crashes and annoys me all over again every time I open the app. 🙄😏

·1 week agoChrome offers the most effective advertising options for Ebay, and that’s probably why the platform is being optimized for it. “In the past,” it was actually Internet Explorer (!) that the pages were optimized for. Like many others, I was and am a Firefox user. For the past few weeks/months, Ebay with Firefox has practically become unusable for me. I now use Opera on Ebay, which gets me by reasonably well.

Where do you see that then? @stubenkram , I can't find anything about it.
Anyway, it doesn't really matter anymore where what gets shown, because you can't really make out any structure in the topics and click-/view options anyway.
You only find topics by chance, the type of display (order of the replies) depends on how you access it = via the bell (if subscribed), or when you're already reading a topic and just refresh.

But now it’s included here: Questions
Here at All posts , so in the view of all topics in the community, you can see that the newer discussion topics are now referred to as "Questions". The visual presentation and what is shown there also differs greatly from slightly older topics that are still considered topics. Only new topics created today in the Café are excluded from this change.
I see the display "Not yet solved" at the top in your topic and in all other topics that were newly created in the discussion forums. From that I conclude that the topic starter, a mentor, or moderator could mark these topics as "Solved".

That was intentional so that as many users as possible can read it.
The flood won't contain it, because the number of eBay users who even read / write here in the community is probably vanishingly small compared to the total number of eBay sellers.
Unfortunately, it won't help the GVKs either, because they have to work with decimal points and that definitely doesn't work. And I really feel sorry for them.
They are suffering huge losses because of such IT errors
