Request for help: How do you check the compliance of eBay shipping labels?
Hello dear community members, I’ve just created a shipping label (letter) via eBay and now I’m wondering how I can make sure it’s compliant with postal requirements. The label I have in front of me is shown as follows: EVTN: xxxxxxx EISESS C/O Recipient's full name Hambornerstr.34 47137 Duisburg To me, the 1st and 2nd lines should be swapped, because the EVTN number is important for internal sorting at the shipping center but isn’t relevant for the post office to deliver the letter to the shipping center. The 1st line is meant for the recipient’s name, so EIESS/... The 2nd line is for delivery notes, where the EVTN:... should go Do you perhaps know whether the post office will still accept it despite the lines being reversed = deliver it to the shipping center? Has anyone already had concrete experience with this? Unfortunately, everything possible is explained on the help pages, but nowhere is a sample label shown. I also couldn’t find anything in the DHL /Post app. On the contrary, I’m now completely confused. Many thanks in advance for your support, have a nice Sunday and warm regards to everyone

Your experience with DHL parcel S + M (tracking) seller protection
Hello everyone, has anyone had experience with this already and is it suitable for cheap products up to €20? What happens if the buyer says it never arrived despite the tracking number—what is the seller protection like there (up to €20)? Best regards

I sold and shipped an item. Unfortunately, the package came back because the address was not complete. I bought the label through eBay. How can I send the goods again without either me or the recipient having to pay shipping costs again?

DHL is not shown for orders abroad.
Good evening, for the last two orders abroad, the shipping method I selected is no longer being shown. Normally I ship via DHL for 14.49 euros. The buyer also pays that amount, and when selected it says "DHL Paket International", but I’m only being offered the option to ship via DPD Classic for 33.72 euros. Last time I created my shipping label through the DHL site, and I’ll do that this time too, but I’d really like to use eBay again, because it’s less work. Does anyone know what might be causing this, or has anyone had this too?

Shipping costs
Unfortunately, things here on Ebay have gotten much, much worse. Unfortunately, there is no more combined shipping. You're supposed to pay shipping costs for each item individually, even though they were often offered by one seller for a single shipping price. Probably an agreement with the delivery companies. A real outrage, just to make more money off us. I believe and hope that, like me, no one wants to buy anything here anymore in this state.

eBay seller protection for postal shipping with matrix code
Hello, dear community! Can someone explain to me exactly how eBay seller protection works for letter shipments with matrix code (bought via eBay) or exactly how I, as the seller, have to proceed so that it applies? Background: for the first time now, I have the case where a customer claims not to have received a shipment - despite the status from Deutsche Post saying "Shipment goes into delivery on ...". Thanks in advance for your help!

Problems with tracking Hermes shipments
Hello everyone, I have a problem with the tracking for a shipping label that I bought through eBay for Hermes. It seems that the tracking on eBay isn’t updating. On Hermes’ website, the shipment shows as delivered according to the tracking. The buyer has already left me positive feedback, which is somewhat reassuring. Right now I can’t enter the tracking manually, since only Hermes Italy is available. Now the payment is still being held... I’m looking forward to your tips.

Urgent: DHL QR code for return is invalid – please send a new return label
Hello everyone, I urgently need help with a return. For my return that has already been opened, eBay provided me with a DHL QR code for the return. However, this does not work at DHL or is recognized as invalid. I also cannot print out the return label myself or retrieve it from eBay as a normal label. I've already been trying since today to reach eBay customer service: Requested a callback – no callback for almost two hours also been in the phone hold queue for over an hour According to eBay, the return must be sent by 07/10 at the latest. Of course I want to send it on time, but I currently can't because the eBay/DHL QR code isn't working. @vera@ebay @nina@ebay @selina_b@ebay Could you please take a look at this and provide me with a new working QR code or a new return label by email? Thank you very much!

Delivery date
Good evening I'm slowly reaching my breaking point here....This topic has been discussed for months and nothing has happened to date. My item can/must be shipped by 30.07. and then this comes from ebay: Date shown to buyer for delivery approx.: 29 Jul 2026 - 31 Jul 2026 So delivery before shipping or within a day? Especially since it's now well known that the postal service or DHL needs 3-5 business days.

Help needed – eBay is holding back my refund
Help needed – eBay is holding back my refund Hello everyone, I urgently need help with an eBay case. I bought a laptop for €1,300 and paid in full. The stated delivery window has now passed, but the item has not been delivered. There is also no plausible DHL tracking number or shipping status. I first requested a cancellation and waited 3 days for a response from the seller. The seller did not respond either to my messages or to the cancellation request. After the item didn’t arrive, I opened a case through eBay for “item not received” and requested a refund. Now eBay is showing me that the seller has time until September 30 and that I can only “escalate to eBay” after that. My question: Is there any way to escalate to eBay earlier or speed up the refund process if the seller isn’t responding at all and there is no shipping proof? I just want my money back that I already paid and not have to wait several more days, even though the seller is showing no response whatsoever. Order number: 27-15155-78260 Thank you very much for any helpful experience or any tips! Sent 2 min ago

Checkout process when shipping costs change
Hello dear community, I'm facing a situation where, as a buyer, I'm interested in an item that I want to purchase 3 times, but the shipping costs need to be adjusted by the seller. The problem is that the purchase is normally directly tied to payment. How do you handle situations like this when the shipping costs are only supposed to be adjusted after the purchase process? Are there specific steps you follow to make sure the seller can still change the shipping costs before you pay?

Shipping label problems with Hermes versus DHL
Hello everyone, I’m currently facing an interesting problem: for the second time in a row, I bought a Hermes shipping label but didn’t receive the QR code by email. Interestingly, this problem doesn’t occur when I choose DHL shipping. There, I always receive the necessary information reliably by email. Has anyone else had similar experiences? What solutions or alternatives have you found? Do you think it’s due to technical problems, or could it be a bigger logistics issue? I’m curious to hear your opinions and would appreciate tips on how you’ve handled similar situations.
