Buyer picked up 2 items, despite the code one item is still marked as "please ship"
Summary: hoffigr reported an issue with eBay indicating that one of the items they sold and handed over to a buyer is still marked as 'please ship', despite having entered the pickup codes correctly. I sold and handed over 2 items to a buyer yesterday. I entered the code, and everything is also checked off in green.
Still, one of the two items says "ship now" and it keeps showing up in red.
I’ve already entered the pickup code for both items several times; it’s accepted, but then the message appears again.
Can someone from eBay just tick it off in my account? Of course the buyer took both items.

as promised, we’re getting back to you with feedback from the specialist department. You did everything right, but the system did not recognize that 2 items were picked up. My colleagues have released your payout.

OP2 days agoThanks mia@ebay but I had already received the payout a day after handover, that was long settled. And that wasn't the problem at all.

OP3 days agoEven after more than a week, even after the promise from the hotline (who probably didn’t even understand what I wanted, simply awful), and even after asking here, the one item still says "paid, please ship".

OP3 days agoI’m sure it wasn’t meant to be snippy, and I’m not blaming the community for it either.
But I asked a question about it and pointed out the problem, followed up days later, and also contacted the hotline.
No result at all. Basically, I’ve already raised three system errors here in the community, and none of them has been resolved by eBay yet. One error was at least solved by time — it disappeared after 90 days.

OP2 weeks agoThe problem still unfortunately exists. It can only be a technical issue, the codes were entered, the money was also credited to me, but one of the two items is still marked as "to be sent". In the app, even marked in red with "paid, ship now".

OP2 weeks agoHe bought both together. Pickup was selected; otherwise there wouldn’t have been a code for pickup.
