Is it really that hard to find a solution for this with DHL / Deutsche Post?
According to eBay, the shipment is considered delivered on 03/09/2026, according to the tracking number delivery is supposed to happen on 04/09/2026, since nothing arrived on 03/09/2026 at 4:55 a.m., how would this go in the worst case now?
Can a mentor please get an eBay employee involved who can explain this? Thanks for that

·2 days agoFor certain shipments via DHL, there is limited shipment tracking - including seller protection. For example, a Maxibrief is already considered delivered once it has been scanned at the responsible office that has to make the delivery.

The item arrived yesterday on 05/09/2026, so not on the 4th as announced either.
If a nitpicker has nothing better to do, they make a big deal out of it.
I just wanted to point out that these "statements, announcements" could really cause trouble for some people and that this "delivered" at the last scan should be described differently.

" Assuming " nothing actually arrived ( that has never happened to me yet ) but just assuming, can the seller then claim that it did arrive, since it was marked as "Delivered"?

if the value of the shipment (including shipping) does not exceed € 20.00 and the shipping labels were bought through Ebay, the Ebay seller protection applies.

With basic shipment tracking, this is the last scan that happens and is therefore shown as "delivered". If you don't know that, it can be a bit confusing.
