As a private seller, you usually don't ship furniture, you only offer pickup!
Proper packaging, especially for larger pieces, is far too much work and you need the right materials. Even then, damage can still happen, and then you also have to pay for the return shipping. On top of that, due to the size, it usually only qualifies as bulky goods shipping, and that's expensive.
