Both discuss how such problems can be effectively resolved.
Hello everyone,
I recently received a return that was damaged during transport by Hermes. The shipping label was created through eBay. Hermes refers me to eBay, while eBay points to Hermes. To prevent this in the future, I'm considering no longer handling my returns through Hermes. What are your best strategies for dealing with problems like this? Do you have alternative shipping providers you can recommend, or tips on how to communicate more effectively with Hermes? Share your experiences and solutions!

·2 weeks agoThere's always trouble with every shipping company when shipments arrive damaged. Every shipping provider tries to dodge reimbursements. And if the shipping provider messed up, why should you contact eBay then? eBay isn't responsible for damaged packages.

How are we supposed to solve the problem?

·2 weeks agopacked properly? Damage to the package itself?
If there was damage to the package, you would have had to complain to the courier right away.
If it’s undamaged and the goods are defective.. it gets tricky... because the shipping provider will point to goods that were insufficiently packed.
Always annoying when that happens...
