Item was returned, wasn't picked up at the post office, what now?
Hello, I sold a shirt privately, shipping by parcel, 2.70. So far so good, but now the shipment has come back because the buyer didn’t pick up the parcel at the branch. DHL apparently put a card in the mailbox. I’ve already received the proceeds too. Am I now responsible, or does the buyer have to pay shipping costs again? It wasn’t my fault after all. And what do I do if the buyer asks for a refund? Thanks a lot for any answers, Nic.

·2 weeks agoYou are only obliged to refund if the buyer does not pay the shipping costs to you again.
However, this cannot be done through eBay and you would have to give the buyer your bank details or your PayPal account, if you have one.

OP2 weeks agoThank you very much! But how do I transfer the refund back then without the shipping costs being paid back too? Because, I’ve already spent those. Somewhere it said you shouldn’t cancel. But I’m wondering how it’s handled otherwise? Thanks again for the quick reply, best regards Nicole

·2 weeks agoNext to each article there is a drop-down menu where you can also find send refund.
And yes, if the purchase is canceled, it can only be refunded in full.
