Implementation of the cancellation button on your platform from 19/06/2026
Subject: Implementation of the withdrawal button on your platform from 19/06/2026 Dear Sir or Madam, as you are probably already aware, due to changes in the law online retailers will be required from 19/06/2026 to provide a new online withdrawal function, also referred to as the “withdrawal button,” through which consumers can revoke the concluded contract directly online on the website via which the contract was concluded. This also applies to commercial offers on sales platforms such as yours. You can find more information on this topic here: https://www.it-recht-kanzlei.de/widerrufsbutton-faq-leitfaden-online-handel.html As a commercial seller on the Ebay sales platform, everyone must ensure that this new online withdrawal function required by law, that is, a “withdrawal button,” is available to customers on your sales platform no later than 19/06/2026. Since only Ebay can influence the technical design of the platform, for technical reasons it is not possible to implement such a function, as required by the legislator, directly in connection with my online offers on the Ebay platform. In other words: technologically, Ebay, as the operator of the marketplace, would have to implement the new online withdrawal functions and integrate them by 19/06/2026 at the latest so that they are displayed to customers in connection with commercial offers. Because this new function must be displayed no later than 19/06/2026 and commercial sellers are specifically at risk of receiving cease-and-desist letters, the function should be made available on the Ebay platform, since all commercial sellers are therefore dependent on Ebay's assistance. It would be nice if Ebay could let us know how the new online withdrawal function (“withdrawal button”) will be implemented on your platform and how the customer can then access and use this function. This matter concerns not only me personally, but all traders operating on the Ebay sales platform, since problems, such as cease-and-desist letters under competition law, can only be avoided through timely action. Petition to change the validity of price suggestions
to change the duration of price suggestions to 4 days !!! I think 96 hours is far too long for me as a SELLER! no buyer will remember after 4 days that they once received a price suggestion! Completely Don’t you think so too? Much more effective and no confusion because the potential sale is completed much faster... THANK YOU

Item not active after price suggestion. New eBay feature
Since it had previously been assumed that this was a bug — namely that additional offers remain active after a price suggestion has been accepted — and it has now been confirmed that this is a new feature, I’m opening this thread. In my opinion, this new feature should be disabled. An accepted price suggestion creates a legally valid and binding purchase contract — regardless of whether the item has already been paid for or not. If this change remains in place, it will no longer be possible for me as a seller to send or accept price suggestions in any meaningful way.

Marketplace - suggestion for improvement!
Dear eBay team, I would like to submit two specific suggestions for improvement that would benefit both sellers and the marketplace as a whole. 1. Make the price offer function stand out more clearly The note “send price offer” is currently too inconspicuous for many buyers. Many users completely overlook this option, even though it is an important tool for fair price discovery. Stronger visual emphasis (e.g. in color, larger, more prominently placed) would increase interaction, generate more price offers, and thus improve the conversion rate. 2. Protection against unfair buyer ratings It happens again and again that buyers leave a negative/neutral rating simply out of bad mood or personal frustration, especially regarding shipping costs – even when the seller: packed very well, shipped quickly, has fairly calculated material costs, packaging, and labor time. Such ratings do not reflect the seller’s actual performance and can permanently damage their reputation. I therefore suggest that eBay better filters or reviews inappropriate or obviously emotional ratings before they negatively affect the seller. A clearer separation between objective performance and subjective mood would be urgently needed here. I am convinced that these two improvements would make the platform fairer and more modern for everyone involved. Thank you for your attention and review. Kind regards Michael

Introduce a new “Archive” section in the seller cockpit
Hello, In the seller dashboard, there used to be the sections “Ended” and “Unsold listings.” A while ago, these sections were combined into the new category “Inactive.” I suggest additionally introducing an “Archive” section, with the option to move items between “Inactive” and “Archive.” In the “Archive,” items can be stored that the seller does not want to offer for sale again for the time being, for example because they are seasonal items or because - in the case of a larger assortment - the monthly quota has been used up and the seller wants to prioritize. In the current menu structure, items that one does not want to continue offering at first must either be filtered out manually or deleted altogether in order to list them again at a later date. In both cases, this takes time, which could be avoided by moving such listings to an “Archive.”

Of course, this is still problematic because: a.) there are enough business buyers who shop with their private account b.) there is still no way (or it simply isn't used) to store the full delivery and billing address for business purchases as an additional address. c.) the rule only applies to EU member states. Suggestion: After the purchase, an additional page should open containing the following form query: Selection: (selection list) I am a private buyer. I am a business. Depending on the selection, another form opens. Private (input fields): First name: Last name: Street: House number: ZIP code: City: hidden field: default value: 1 Business (input fields): Full company name: (sole proprietor first name last name) otherwise UG, GmbH, etc. etc. Street: House number: ZIP code: City: VAT ID: (alternatively tax number) Email: (email alias is not relevant to the tax office) hidden field: default value: 0 The 0 or 1 then controls whether the buyer is shown a "withdrawal button" in their purchase overview. Otherwise, one or two business buyers would have to forgo their (company) invoice in future if they shop here with their private account. I think your developers should be able to manage that. Why is there no filter by year of manufacture in the Engines section?
Dear eBay team, suggestion for improvement: Please set up a filter for a vehicle’s year of manufacture. Vehicle year of manufacture from/to, e.g. This would make searching much easier in the Motors Cars & Motorcycles: Vehicles etc. area.
