Ptsg - What's going on here again? No info!
Hello eBayers, today I had to find out that the Ptsg report to the tax office for the year 2025 was only created and submitted on 29.05.2026. What is going on here again? According to eBay Help and the law, this must be done by 31 January 2026 at the latest. Also, eBay Help says: You will receive a notification by email. Where is this notification? Maybe everyone who may also be affected should take a look under https://www.ebay.de/mes/transaction-reports?q=tax&sh=true to see whether eBay has sneaked a report in there secretly as well.

Oh man....
Everything here is taking quite a long time with the supposed optimization too, I’m seeing more and more setbacks....my synapses are already running at full speed....😂

It is and it remains confusing !!! Of 2 criticisms from my side, 1 got dinged - honest and, as usual, sarcastic - so presumably the latter is to be expected too. Nah, this is no longer nice, I can actually only take that in very small doses, well then. After 18 years, I'm really going to take it a bit easier now. The sales page has also been made worse by trying to improve it. Click on it - no image. Partly. I can no longer choose the order in the summary either. First the unpaid ones ... that's what makes buying fun (irony !!!) I also have to reselect the choice "ending soonest" every day. A masterpiece of programming.

Shipping to parcel lockers: when using postage via eBay, letter shipping is NO LONGER possible
Hello everyone, I hope that there are still eBay employees around in this new forum (as was the case before). For several weeks now, through eBay postage you have NOT been able to select letter mail for postage anymore if a Packstation is entered as the delivery address. You can select merchandise shipments, but no letter mail. For letter mail, however, you have basic shipment tracking and seller protection too, which is not possible with merchandise shipments.

Warning: eBay’s message filter blocks eBay’s own app links (ebay. io)!
Hello everyone, I’d like to share a discovery that cost me quite a few nerves (and probably many others too). When you click “Share” on an item in the official eBay smartphone app, the app automatically generates a short link with the domain ending https://ebay . io.... The strange thing: if you send this exact official link to a potential buyer via eBay’s messaging system, eBay’s spam filter slams on the brakes without mercy. The message gets blocked because the system mistakenly classifies its own ebay. io domain as an impermissible “external link”! Clearly the left hand doesn’t seem to know what the right hand is doing here: the app developers introduce handy short links, but the security team forgets to whitelist them in the message filter. So if you want to send item links to interested buyers, you should copy the link in the browser ( ebay.de ) or send only the item number itself so you don’t get blocked by the system. Note: I’m sharing this here purely as a warning for other people affected. Unqualified comments or the usual standard lectures from so-called “pro mentors” who miss the actual IT issue are not wanted here and don’t help anyone. Have you noticed this bug too? Maybe a moderator is reading along and can pass it on to IT. Edit: I also had to insert a space here between ebay and .io - the post was blocked before! Edit 2: I had to delete the text and paste it again. Otherwise it wouldn’t have been approved at all!

Date and time information until the auction ends "cut out"
Dear eBay team, please give us back the time information, because "Sun. 12/07 14:30" until auction end is not the same as "ends in 3 days and 6 hours". You lose the painstakingly found auction because there are quite a few "similar" auctions in the list. In such cases I used to set an alarm for 12:25 and in the list I would immediately see "my" item. Now I have to search again and may well miss the auction ending. I hope that's understandable - unfortunately I couldn't find how to post screenshots here so it's clear exactly what I mean.

Generated AI texts from sellers are annoying – where are the facts?
Hi everyone, lately I’ve been extremely bothered by the fact that more and more sellers are having their descriptions written entirely by the eBay AI. The texts may sound nice (“Step into the world of...”), but they’re completely useless. The dimensions are generally missing, and no one says a word about whether the items (e.g. watches) still work. The AI should be forcing sellers to provide this required information when creating listings, instead of producing hot air. Do you feel the same way as buyers?

Connect bank account and account balance
Just now I entered the bank details, where I was supposed to log in with my bank credentials via Trustly. An IBAN and a cent transfer would have been enough, but ebay probably wants to be able to access the account itself if necessary. I’ll probably also have to pay exchange fees to US dollars... If anyone knows a good alternative to ebay, send it my way. After entering the data and clicking "Confirm," the popup stayed white. Apparently the data got lost, because I had to start the process again. Out of curiosity, I also selected the "Show account balance" switch. The process then went through and I was shown a shockingly low account balance. I כמובן checked that right away and was relieved to find that it wasn’t true. Which part of that was supposed to be a confidence-building measure?
