The "repeat buyer" filter is no longer there.
After spending over 1/1-2 years trying every possible way, also with eBay`s help / using eBay`s help, to get some private sellers to work " properly ", but this apparently ends up automatically in the archive at eBay ( please, please do not take action 🤣 ) so I`ve now tried using " sweet-talk " with my customers so they don`t keep falling for these " dubious " ones.
Very useful for me here was the listing after a sale " REPEAT BUYERS " 😘.
That immediately showed me that with this one you have to include a little something ( mini bag of gummy bears or something like that ) because he came back. (Satisfaction creates repeat buyers)
It was also received quite well and NOW....Ooooops...once again a USEFUL FUNCTION ( of the AI 🤔 ) has fallen victim ?????????? The concierge service for long-standing, paying customers ? experienced at listening, response = 0
Why don`t the programmers at eBay use their valuable time to build simple filters to support us decent-working, PAYING business sellers instead of constantly putting another stone in our path and instead pampering those who keep violating the terms and conditions here, don`t follow general rules and only look after their own personal advantage (Everyone`s stupid except ME 👻 ).
You really have to start seriously wondering whether eBay is still the right place to run a proper business.
Alternatively, maybe this also helps: stop reordering anything, let it run out and SAYONARA, because on eBay the principle seems to be increasingly prevailing:

after over 10 years on eBay ( and many thousands of euros in fees / sales commissions etc. ) not an easy step, but keep getting annoyed forever? No thanks.

We handled the “repeat buyers” the same way. If someone ordered from us multiple times, they would occasionally get something free thrown in; for new customers who ordered for the first time, we always included a coupon so they could get a discount on their next order. For some time now, though, the notice is no longer displayed, which is hard to understand — why would eBay remove something like that.
Likewise, for a few months now we haven’t been selling anything at all if we don’t run ads for an item. We tested it deliberately and created a brand-new listing identical to an existing one, ran ads for that again, and disabled the ads on the item that had been listed for years. The result was that the item that had existed for years suddenly wasn’t selling at all anymore (before that, on average about 25 sales a day), and the new item sold several times, but 100% through ads. By now, for literally EVERY item it says that it was sold through ads. If we lower the ad fee so that our profit drops to almost 0, then far less or nothing at all sells again, so we have to enter the percentage eBay recommends in order to get anything sold at all. I now just call something like that a rip-off. No wonder there are now so incredibly many commercial sellers registered as private sellers. For an item with a selling price of 40 euros, the fees come to 6.99 euros sales commission and 6.93 euros ad fee. That leaves us with just 26.08 euros gross or 21.92 euros net. After deducting shipping costs (packaging and postage are 6.23 net), that’s only 15.69 euros left. Manufacturing costs, including employee costs, are about 15.20 euros. In the end, on a 40-euro item we make a laughable 50 cents, while eBay pockets a neat 13.22 euros for doing nothing (ignoring the listing fee every 30 days entirely for now). I think eBay will probably be history for us very soon.

The term was completely new to me.
In the store, you have regular customers, and we really have a lot of those.
Otherwise, I know the term "repeat offender".

I only know the term repeat buyer from Ebay too. And apparently that’s not due to the translation either, because according to PONS the regular customer is the regular customer😉
But jokes aside, repeat buyers are great for special voucher promotions. Since Ebay doesn’t say how many purchases there were in the last 2 years, I check the number and value of the orders using my own resources and send the relevant repeat buyers special vouchers with special conditions.
