Subject: Quantity tier multi-discount
Hello, I'm bringing this topic up again because a) nothing has changed so far and b) it's relevant to me again. The thing with the variants has two catches:
1. if you choose e.g. "quantity" as the variant name and then 1, 2, etc. as the options, and then enter more than 1 for the corresponding quantities, you may end up with a negative one (that happened to me at first), because if the buyer later sees that they could have had 1 x 5 pieces much cheaper than 5 x 1 piece and you don't react in time or react wrongly, the buyer may feel deceived
2. if you enter only 1 as the quantity each time (except for the highest quantity, which you can of course set as high as you want) and then someone buys this one item, the quantity drops to zero and if you set it back to 1 then 42 ct offer fee every time is charged
So my suggestion would be: make the multi-discount more configurable, meaning: the discount is based on a quantity set by the user, so instead of 1,2,3,4 the quantities mentioned by the topic starter, 1,2,5,10 or whatever. Maybe also add a few more fields to the four possible fields.
