Date format gone in the results list!?

I'm seriously wondering why people here are claiming this is a bug and even getting thumbs up, even though it's obviously not a bug.

Hope it stays that way now.

And since this new time display is also not dynamic, it is already WRONG after one minute - so CRAP.

The new display is generally pointless, because you have to calculate it backwards; it offers absolutely no added value, especially since it’s not dynamic and doesn’t update as you go, like the remaining-time display does, and after 24 hours it only shows by day.
After 3 days, it then shows the date, but again without a time.
The display is so unbelievably useless. I פשוט can’t make sense of the logic behind it.

If it were a bug, it would've been fixed ages ago, or at least that would be the case in any normal company.
Also, when sorting by "newly listed," it now shows how many minutes/hours/days ago the item was listed. On ebay.com, though, that seems to have already been changed again. They’re probably just testing something again and waiting to see how users react - typical eBay.

·3 weeks agoNo, that’s not a bug, that’s an intentional downgrade. It was good again over the weekend, now it’s bad again. It would have been better if it had stayed good. Because what good is an improvement to a figure that is already outdated after a minute?
