The search isn't working as it should/is supposed to

I have some "complicated" search queries that I've been using successfully for a long time. That is, with exclusions of several sellers and words.
Recently, I've been getting the error message shown more often, even though I haven't changed anything in my prompt.
For example, in one of my search prompts I had about 40K results and could live with that. Now I see this error message. And if I enter the same prompt in Firefox, I get over 70K results - so unusable for me ((
I wanted to ask the Ebay team what was changed in the system that made my filters stop working?
What can I do about it?

P.S. Please don't ask me to post the prompts, because it just doesn't work, not even in a PM (I've already tried several times).

The search software here is constantly being made worse under the guise of improvement. I also run a few searches that I haven't changed in years, but the search results keep getting worse and worse. We'll probably just have to live with it.

So far, I thought the portal was trying to win people over by showing a few nice surprise results via the link "similar articles" "view all". But that also seems to be a misconception; even there it's only garbage now, in my case Asian decorative junk instead of historical instruments.

The truth is (after many private sellers were driven out) there is such a thin selection that, with the help of search term and category expansions, they want to foist any old junk on the searcher. And for that, the existing search software has to be further "optimized". Unfortunately, nothing here is getting better anymore.
