Print format for shipping label 4 x 6 via Ebay
why is there no option to print DHL labels in 4 x 6 format when creating a shipping label? Only an A4 page is provided for printing, nothing more. On the American ebay website, there is the option to set the shipping label to 4 x 6. This makes it easier to print labels directly with a label printer.
Attached is an image from the American ebay page where you can select different format sizes. Additionally, the A4 page is horizontal, making editing even more difficult.
Best regards

After all, it is an addon that makes life a little easier for some eBay users!

- even if this is dripping with sarcasm now - but you already did that once at the end of 2024.
We can see what it has brought so far! 🙄
In my opinion, a very embarrassing thing for a globally operating company to not manage such a relatively simple implementation.

·3 months agoI download the DIN A4 format. I crop the PDF on ilovepdf.com for free down to half size and then print it landscape. It's a bit cumbersome, but it works. It would, however, be more convenient if, as has been mentioned several times before, you could simply choose 4x6.

·8 months agoTopic closed? I’ve been wondering for quite a while now why that’s not possible or doable.
Where can you protest? 😀😅

·8 months agoYou can protest directly at eBay or here too - it just won’t do any good!
Strangely enough, I can print my labels however I want; it’s purely a matter of the settings for the respective print setup.

·1 year agoUnfortunately, the DIN format was not chosen, but exclusively the DIN A4 format. So for each address, a complete DIN A4 sheet has to be used, even though only a fraction of it is needed. However, anyone who has a label printer that prints in DIN A6 format cannot use that either. This forces one to use the paid version of Acrobat Reader or resort to other additional programs. The 4x6 format, i.e. almost the DIN A6 format, is absolutely common, and I do not understand why eBay Germany decided against using it here.

Hello @ercanplay and thank you for bringing your request to us through the community. Yesterday I moved it to the Suggestions and feedback on the eBay platform section and then took it along to our meeting with the shipping team.
I was informed that this suggestion is known, but it will be passed on again with pleasure. On the eBay.de shipping labels platform, DIN formats were chosen. What you could do is generate QR codes, so you would no longer have to print anything at all. The tip shared by @ttd4it was also mentioned.
Kind regards
Miriam

·10 months agoI can print normally in Edge, @eisenweich .
In Firefox everything appears really small.
Maybe it's also a setting that can be adjusted.

·10 months agoWhat setting do you have in Edge? I have that too, best regards

·10 months agoActually, I don't understand where the problem lies. In the logistics sector, the 4x6 label is almost standard. To my knowledge, the appearance of a DHL label is not standardized either. So it should be possible for an employee to combine the available data in an afternoon and generate a 4x6 label. If it needs to look nice, you can even bring in the design department if necessary. Creating something like that is really no magic trick, but rather a task for the IT department trainees.

·8 months agoAs voli-maus already said, the 4x6 format is based on the selection of your label printer. You install your printer or printer driver that prints the corresponding format, and then select this printer in the print window and that’s that.

Adobe Acrobat offers a way to crop PDF documents.
For this, you need a Professional version.
Then you can conveniently print these on 4x6.
Alternatively, you can get a label printer that is recommended by DHL.
