Hi, I'm feeling pretty annoyed by this eBay Live. I don't want to see it on the homepage, not as a recommendation, not in the app, and I also don't want to receive any more emails and notifications advertising eBay Live.
I've looked at it a few times and I know for sure that I don't want to buy anything that way. Just not at all. (And also that I definitely don't want to start a stream like that myself.)

Hello @w-sky and everyone! Based on these reactions that I’ve been observing since your post, it’s clear that some of you would like the option to completely hide eBay Live and the corresponding notifications.
eBay Live is a fixed part of our marketplace and is aimed at those who like to use this format. At the same time, we also want to give interested users the chance to get to know the format. Your wish for more settings options has become clearly apparent here, and this feedback has been passed on once again to the responsible team. However, we can’t promise any changes.

and what about those who don’t want to use this format, they are forced to look at the features on the subject.
That makes it a bit too easy for your idea people.
Equality works differently.
What bothers me personally, for example, is that I have to store a payment method just to take a look at it for information.

Hello @oskar_der_wikinger - Thanks for your feedback. To watch an eBay Live event, you don't need to add a payment method beforehand, even though we recommend it. You can simply close the corresponding window and still watch the stream. You can also add a payment method later - just in case watching turns into more 😉.

Thanks for the feedback, @oskar_der_wikinger - I just tested it again in the app and it works for me to watch without a saved payment method. Are you using the latest version?

But what the hell is this crap. Always prominently in the 2nd row in gallery view, it's insanely annoying.
I don't want to see this!!
But there's no way to turn it off. Outrageous!

I’m not the slightest bit interested in all this hype around Ebay Live either. However, on the pages where it comes up, I just click on, precisely because I’m not interested in it.
Unfortunately, you can’t turn off all marketing measures in the notification settings.
So I move on without reading this ...

Sometimes there are five or six a day.
I don’t know if or how that works in the app.
I think I read that you can’t turn that off.

·3 weeks agoHello, it’s exactly the same for us. I’ve already sent a message via the shake-feedback function asking whether this completely obsolete function for me, or for us, could also be turned off if needed (!!!). Surely it should also work on the system side in binary like a light switch: On - Off. Either I look at the crap, take part, or I can opt out by hiding it!
Of course there’s still been no response, and eBay Live takes up almost the entire screen across spaces. Sometimes you also accidentally hit the button and the whole mess starts up.
Thanks for bringing up the topic again.
