Feedback: Ebay-Live
Summary: oksipitallappen expresses dissatisfaction with the new “Ebay-Live” feature on Ebay’s homepage, which is perceived as annoying and worthless. They feel uncomfortable with the new focus on product presentations and would like to see a return to the classic view. mmftf agrees and criticizes the increasing advertising-like character, which is detracting from the shopping experience. bootyooty offers a helpful tip about using the feedback function on ebay’s website to address these concerns to the company.
I was told this is a way to send feedback to Ebay.
Recently, the Ebay experience on the homepage has been completely replaced for me with "Ebay Live". Ebay Live is completely uninteresting to me; it has no added value for me when people pitch products. The current homepage "shouts" at me with every visit: "You're in the wrong place, there's nothing here for you to see, find another buying/selling portal!"
I don't understand how Ebay got the idea to change the market principle so radically, at least on the homepage, and I don't know anyone who has spoken positively about it. Maybe ebay will return to the classic view.

·4 months agoHELLO first of all @oksipitallappen
on the eBay summary page at the top right you can find, for example, the function
https://www.ebay.de/mye/myebay/summary
in blue text: Your opinion
just click it and optionally choose, then write something about it in the text box.

·4 months agoI'm exactly the same as you @oksipitallappen - I don't want to see that, don't want to click it, none of that stuff. It's already starting like everywhere else - you're constantly being plastered with AD GARBAGE. I'm on ebay because I get / look for something specific here that I can't get at the store around the corner - not so I have to look at ads for things I don't want.
