On Fridays, Ebay has craft day and here in Sweden Fridays are taco day.
Since a few people here have recently made it their hobby to hammer away on Ebay, something positive for once.
The new overview in the offers regarding price suggestions is more than well done.
Now you can finally also see in detail with each item what happened there.
More info for sellers leads to a better sales experience for buyers since we can work on how we present ourselves.
But since ebay shouldn’t rest on its laurels, all that’s missing are technical options for the seller or directly for Ebay so that we can also make better use of this data we’ve gained. 🙂

so that you keep getting feedback, here’s another opinion on last Friday’s crafting session.
The buttons for sending price suggestions:
There are several options, of course.
- Directly in the overview in Seller Cockpit Pro
- When you’re in the "Offers" view
In the overview of Seller Cockpit Pro I don’t send any, but the note that you can send them is pretty nice.
Now we come to the partly negative part that apparently came up last Friday.
If you’re in your offers and can send price suggestions, you now have 2 options:
- Once via the quick filter (if you have this option displayed)
- Once in the offers there appears a field with a blue button where you can send price suggestions.
No matter which one you click, it’s the same in terms of view and handling, but the only and annoying difference is that if you want to send a price suggestion via the separate field, you ALWAYS have the box checked for "Allow counteroffer".
We know eBay lives from, or rather sales on eBay live from, conversation with potential buyers, but if you never had to pay attention to this field before and now have to check every price suggestion first to see whether everything is set correctly, then this new feature doesn’t do anything for me either.
eBay should combine this into a single point, and then it would be a sensible thing that also gladly points a seller toward something.
It’s just a bit exhausting when you always have to keep glancing over at more and more things. For 1-2, even maybe 3 things, that’s okay, but eBay is currently, with its new features, on a path where in 2-3 months you’ll have to check so many extra things that it becomes exhausting. We all know what that means.....

This also includes the further development of our technologies, for example: editing and the settings options for price suggestions. We will be happy to pass on the note for review to determine whether an improvement is necessary in this context. However, we cannot name a date for when, or whether, an improvement is required.

for me, the settings are preselected:
Just the way I had preselected them myself. If I change this, the system also remembers the setting. At least on the laptop, unfortunately it doesn't work in the app.
