Grammar ?!? "For Christmas"
Dear Sir or Madam,
I think the grammar in the shipping notice with the wording "Zum Weihnachten" is incorrect. According to eBay grammar, the article for Christmas would in fact be "DEM Weihnachten".
Either "Zum Weihnachtsfest/Abend", "zu Weihnachten" or "zur Weihnacht" would be correct...
But these days it’s no longer important whether the grammar is correct....

Hello @gizm017 and Thanks so much for the heads-up! There was actually an extra "M" that had crept in, which was of course unintentional and grammatically incorrect.
We’ve corrected the text in the meantime. The new shipping notice, which shows whether the item will still arrive in time for Christmas, is really handy, isn’t it? 😊

One of my shipments sat in the shop as a return for ages.
Then after a good 3 weeks I found it and, after many emails with my seller, finally got it after all 😂
Once again, not meant in a mean way from the little sarcastic one 🤗

I do indeed see it as, for example, "to die for", so the miswording in the literal sense: it is "to Christ-mas".
