No limits for power sellers?!
There are crazy commercial sellers, there’s no other way to put it, who automatically list an enormous number of items. Are there no limits at all, at least per category? Example: The user Forgotten Books
actually has 1.8 MILLION auctions running. 😠
I regularly sift through Ebay for new book editions. Countless old tomes from them keep popping up, with apparently standardized (?) covers and, in some cases, incorrect item descriptions (no wonder with that volume). Yes, I know about filtering. Unfortunately, these mainly English sellers (or is it the same one?!) keep turning up again and again; in any case, they’re new names.

·7 months agoYes, there is such a thing.
For example, my account also has no selling limits.

·7 months agoHi @!edhu!
I haven't dealt with the fee structure of Ebay.com or Ebay.uk so far. If the seller were operating here on Ebay-DE, they could at least list unlimited fixed-price offers if they had at least a Premium Shop:
For auctions, though, the free listing would still be limited.

·7 months agoHey @kenn-i-di-1
when I click on the "Auctions" button, nothing gets displayed for me either.
But between "All" (1,861,827) and "Buy Now" (1,858,477) there’s a difference of 3,350. What kind of listing format is that supposed to be? 😉

·7 months agoI haven't checked that, and that's only possible to a limited extent in the app anyway.
With all, I also see 1 861 827; with Buy It Now it then shows 1 800 000+, auctions 0.
How the difference you found comes about is probably only explainable, or guessable, with "eBay logic".
It's not the first time that unexplained differences have shown up depending on the sorting.

·7 months agoit may seem "crazy" to you, but there are actually accounts that have no limits, or power sellers who have earned it, moreover the seller is from the U.K., so a different eBay website, different conditions
