Hello everyone,as already shown in other posts, more and more texts are now being created with AI, which often comes at the expense of the necessary product description. I’ve now found an absolutely incorrect and partly nonsensical item description from a private seller. But underneath it there was still the clause"The item description was generated with the help of artificial intelligence (AI). This may contain possible errors."If eBay lets something like that pass as okay, it opens the door wide to every kind of fake, because without any negative consequences I can claim anything about an item, as long as it was created with AI. So it all just comes down to the art of prompting the AI; sellers with a self-written "honest" description are the ones left holding the bag. In my opinion, that no longer has much to do with the typical private-seller disclaimer that all information is provided without guarantee. That can’t really be in eBay’s interests.
