Customer portal for immediate contact defective goods
Today I spent hours looking until I found a personal contact outside of the AI.
The following problems were caused by eBay.
Over 7 days, I placed various bids with one and the same seller, as you do, since this is also offered by the seller (many small parts) to save on shipping.
I won several items (15); everything was still normal here, but unfortunately I did not receive a purchase confirmation after the highest bid for all items won, and that started on Friday around 2 p.m.
On Sunday evening I was surprised that the notifications only came after 1-2 hours; I had also saved these items in my watchlist, so they were still available.
Today at 10:20 a.m. I then received a purchase confirmation for 3 more items, auction end Friday 14:14; SATURDAY 15:13 AND 17:00 HOUR. Without any idea, I had already paid for everything on Sunday.
To clarify this with eBay I looked for contact outside of the automatic assistance, which doesn’t have this issue on its radar. A hotline number was hard to come by, but through the legal notice I then succeeded with the phone number; maybe EBAY should mention it in its customer portal.
The additional costs are now being reimbursed by EBAY, so the huge amount of time spent was worth it after all.

By the way, you can also do that next time via the automated assistant by asking directly for a callback if the help offered doesn’t get you any further. You’ll then be connected with the right team.

I currently don’t see any need for optimization.

·2 years agoWhat should be mentioned in the customer portal? Actually, every adult knows that companies have to have legal notice information and that contact information has to be there too. Why do you need extra notes for that?
