Well, what else am I supposed to write? Hello first of all, I actually tried, against my better judgment, to report an item because in my opinion there is rightly a misleading item description. Okay - the item itself, or rather its description, is kept very short; it only says two words, "Gaming PC". That’s it. Nothing about the item condition, which according to the item specifics is new, other (see item description). I reported the item because, in my opinion, the item description misleads the buyer. Because the item specifics state that it is an INTEL computer with a dedicated GPU. But according to the item photos, the item is an AMD computer with an integrated graphics unit in the processor, i.e. an APU. Setting aside the fact that you can’t play games like Minesweeper or Solitaire on that, so it is de facto not a gaming PC and the price is about twice as high as what the thing would cost new from some online system integrator. To what extent is there no misleading of a potential buyer there? AMD instead of Intel CPUAPU instead of separate GPU I don’t think anyone is so "insert any swear word here" as to buy a PC that contains only information about the RAM (namely the size) and nothing else. If you look closely at the product photos, you can see that an AMD boxed cooler is installed there. It also seems to be an MSI motherboard, but nothing about the processor generation (at most AMD 4 if you look at the motherboard’s I/O shield because of the two PS/2 ports). The board itself is definitely an older version, since the graphics outputs there, as the newest, only have HDMI, alongside VGA and DVI, but no DisplayPort. Add to that a no-name power supply without certification and probably not even with a CE mark. It’s not surprising that no graphics card is mentioned, because the PC doesn’t have one. And you can see from the installed RAM that it is at most DDR4 (green PCB without a heatsink). I’ve now also just received the response regarding my objection, and of course the customer service representative determined that the item description is not incorrect. Let’s summarize once more: The only information we have is:1. according to the text Intel CPU -> according to the photo AMD CPU2. according to the text separate graphics card on its own PCI-E expansion card -> according to the photo no graphics card, but rather an integrated APU present in the CPU3. according to the text 16 GB RAM -> photo shows two installed modules, so this information probably matches the text. So we only have three pieces of information about this PC, two of which are wrong and, so to speak, contain the opposite of what the seller claims. Of course I also pointed this out to the seller, but they still haven’t responded. Probably won’t respond either; in another auction they’re offering an empty case with around a 200% markup over the new price. Am I being too picky here, isn’t it misleading to offer an INTEL computer and deliver an AMD computer, isn’t it misleading to claim that the computer has a dedicated GPU, i.e. a separate graphics card, even though it doesn’t have one, but only an integrated APU in the processor, with which you can’t play PC games? I know that the term gaming PC isn’t protected, I didn’t complain about that either, that the crappy thing on offer can at most be used as an office PC, nor about the probably 300 euro / 100% markup for the PC as new/other/used instead of as new goods with warranty. Aside from the fact that you probably can’t even get that thing as new goods anymore. Did I overreact?
