The monthly invoice should be directly accessible via eBay and not only via Riverty
Someone has already brought up the topic, but unfortunately the only answer was how to
view their Riverty account balance and not why it (still?)
doesn't work on eBay.... It would be so much easier for buyers to be able to view this information directly under "My eBay"
and not have to log in to RIVERTY separately...
It works that way elsewhere too 😉 !!

·1 year agoRiverty only sends a monthly statement by email and no invoice. To retrieve the invoice, you first have to install a corresponding app. This app could not be installed on my device. I therefore checked my purchases to see what was booked with a direct eBay invoice and what was not in order to review Riverty's payment statement. Other online systems send the corresponding invoice together with the statement without having to install an extra app for it. My inquiry about sending the invoice for the statement also went unanswered by Riverty. For me, the monthly eBay statement via Riberty is done. We’ll stick with the old payment systems.

We are continuously reviewing how we can improve the customer experience regarding payment methods. At the moment, we are in a partnership with Riverty, which is very similar to the one with Klarna.
The suggestion has been passed on to the people responsible.

I can only support the proposal from @dmary56 with approval as well.
I’ve been using Riverty monthly billing on a platform that can’t be named here, for years now, and basically I’m quite satisfied.
There you can view all the relevant data via the platform account without having to sign in or log in again in any big way.
That’s more or less how your idea and coding acrobats should be able to make it work so that interest in this payment method increases.

·1 year agoGood day ...I tried out my orders with Riverty in January. I’m satisfied.
The goods arrived ...the billing was done at the end of the month, which was also paid at the same time.
Now I wanted to try it again (most merchants even offer it). So I opened instant purchase and lo and behold ...the monthly billing is not visible under the payment section, except Klarna etc.
I called Riverty, by the way very nice and helpful customer service agents, and explained my problem.
They also sent me confirmation that everything was in order with the payment!
I was told to try checking for updates, or to change the bowser ....tried everything - problem still exists.
Do you have any advice?

same here, I'm already at my wit's end too.
With the sellers, the monthly statement is still shown to me
but not at the register anymore, I don't understand it, especially since I tested it with several
sellers.

I haven't yet found out which items these are, maybe
perhaps @miriam@ebay can help further...

And that it should only be certain products
can’t be right, because for me in December and January it was
different products and sellers. And now I’ve already
tested everything in every category, whether furniture, food, or anything else.
It’s like with Klarna, sometimes it works, then again it doesn’t. I think rather that eBay
has its fingers in it there and is blocking buyers.

I don't know what it's down to....but there can be many reasons, e.g. just a technical problem,
that can't be resolved ?...but that Ebay is deliberately
blocking buyers is somehow heading in the direction of conspiracy theories..what would Ebay gain from that???
They are hoping for more purchases through this new payment method...
And there are still other payment methods that can be used.
Besides, the merchants don't offer monthly invoicing!

As we have already explained elsewhere, not all payment methods are always available during checkout, and in such situations we recommend switching to another available payment method.

Still, something isn't right if you can pay with monthly billing at first
and then suddenly not anymore, and Riverty can't explain it either.
